Sutton House Bed & Breakfast is the first and only Solar Powered historic lodging in all of the Lakes Region! We generate 28.8 kWh of electricity to heat and cool our historic inn. There are 90 solar panels that serve 13 heat pump units mounted in each guest room and all of the main common rooms. We have minimized our dependency on fossil fuels and significantly reduced utility operating costs. Be sure to ask the Inn Keeper for a tour and demo of the live operating system.
