| The B&B was remodeled several times to employ improvements of each era. The latest 20 month 'cupola to porch' renovation is a wonderful spot that our guest thoroughly enjoy. The kitchen, all bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas have been fully restored, along with the exterior. Fire egress, a conservatory and a wheelchair ramp were also added to the building. A swimming pool for guests has also been installed (located on the hill behind the House with great views of the Lake). New parking will be added later this year.
What this means is that Sutton House guests will enjoy the ambiance of a seasoned victorian structure while having the pleasure of staying in 'brand new' B&B rooms. |

Welcome ! The Bed and Breakfast was built in the 1860's for Eliza Sutton as a tourist home on 320 acres of farm land overlooking quiet Center Harbor on Lake Winnipesaukee. It was operated as a dairy farm and one of the first women owned businesses in the area. Local artist Lisa Nelthrop was commissioned to paint a mural depicting Center Harbor Circa 1900 which fills the front hall of the B&B.
